The next revolution is tilting towards the rise of exceptional millennials (born between 1980-2000), who are strategically positioning themselves in every sphere of influence to introduce dynamic ways of doing things. As a millennial it’s ok to be the crazy person who sees the world in a different way and is not scared of taking the risk to be different. Millennials are characterized as ‘’culture shapers and not culture captives’’. It’s no secret that millennials has inherited the problems of the past generation the negativity of their ignorance, negligence but that gives us a reason to act

1.       FORGE YOUR OWN PATH. Millennials aren't tied to the old ways of doing things, and their willingness to disrupt traditional industries in favor of something newer and better has energized the social, religious, cultural and business world. These new breed of homo sapiens are more of pacesetters and trailblazers, they believe in the upgraded version of everything and never ready to settle for anything less

2.       EMBRACE TECHNOLOGY. The transition to the IT age has really left us fascinated with how fast things can change and how vulnerable humans can easily adjust to any trend that’s calling. Now you could walk into a round table and nobody is talking, everyone is on their phone or computers. Probably you are left behind, let me announce to you, the world has gone tech-savvy, the cyberspace has become the new means of interacting and

      communicating. In simple terms ‘’everything has gone online’’

 

      Monthly there is over 2.13 billion active facebook users and 5 new members per second.

      Apart from the interesting fact of how these social media platforms can connect you to people from different parts of the world it’s also a medium which can make money available in your pocket through online businesses and today it has grown to become the fastest means of nonverbal communication. To survive and probably thrive in this time and age you need to be computer literate.

3.       DIVERSE AND CREATIVE. There has never been a better time to be innovative than now, there are tonnes of opportunities that we can’t just let to slide away.  Millennials are never satisfied with the old way of doing anything, there is always an urge to improve, initiate and explore new ideas. They always feel the world demands more from them than they are offering, so they easily dissent from any factor that tries to keep them stock with the norm.

4.       GET INTO POLITICS. The role of politics as far as the twenty-first century is concerned has become so imperative that every millennial has to consider keeping an eye one it. Electing political office holders and contesting for elections is one aspect millennials are yet to fully deploy their energy and as millennials plan to introduce a new world of interaction between man them politics which plays a major leadership role in our society must not be sidetracked by millennials.

5.       ENTREPRENEURSHIP. Even if not directly self-employed, get a side hustle. ‘’Money for millennials or millennials for money’’ as Robert Kiyosaki will say. Millennials no longer work for money, they make money work for them. They get themselves educated about money and then make the right investments. The desire to solve a problem, gain some influence and probably become someone reputable has led a vast majority of millennials to entrepreneurship.
